September 2025 at Taffety Punk Theatre Company. Directed and adapted by Lise Bruneau.

Featuring Kimberly Gilbert, Tonya Beckman, Fabiolla Da Silva, Dan Crane, and Gary DuBreuil.

A hero who fights for right, defends the weak, and inspires all to see and take delight in the beauty of the world. This is the hero Edmond Rostand gives us in Cyrano de Bergerac. Despite Cyrano’s celebration of this self-described “panache”, the character suffers a crippling diffidence about the possibility of being loved.

"The costumes, by Elizabeth Morton, are handsome, beautifully detailed, and suggestive of the era."

—DC Theater Arts

"Elizabeth Morton’s costumes are true to the period yet functional and lean. Actors must transition from one character to the next in quick order so a hat, a cape, a skirt, a shawl indicates that an actor has now evolved to a new character. Morton keeps a wise eye to functional pieces that can be layered or re-purposed quickly. It’s hard to believe the power and creativity of this epic story that’s packed into this trim cast and lean production elements. Taffety Punk’s Cyrano explodes with energy, originality and talent."
